What if my app breaks during the rebuild?

Accepted Answer

It won't — your Bubble app stays running untouched the entire time. We build on a staging environment in parallel, dual-write critical data when relevant, and only cut over to the code version once you push the button on a call with us. The Bubble app then sits in read-only as a fallback for 30 days.

Who owns the code? Will I be locked in to you?

Accepted Answer

Your GitHub org gets transferred to you on day one — before the first commit. We push as collaborators on your repo. The day we stop, you keep everything: repo, CI, staging, runbook. Zero lock-in by design.

Question 3

I'm not technical. Can I still maintain a code app?

Accepted Answer

Honest answer: you'll need at least one engineer — full-time, contractor, or fractional — to keep shipping after we hand off. We rebuild on the stack that's easiest to hire for: Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres, Tailwind. The 30-day warranty period gives you time to onboard whoever takes over.

What about my Bubble plugins?

We replace each plugin with its native equivalent. Stripe plugin becomes the Stripe SDK, Algolia plugin becomes the Algolia SDK, and so on. Most plugins map 1:1 to a real library that is cheaper and better-supported. Custom plugins without an obvious mapping get called out in the analysis with a rebuild approach.

How accurate is the free AI estimate?

Conservative on time, honest on cost. The report runs three internal estimates (cautious, realistic, optimistic) and surfaces the realistic. When we move to a paid engagement we re-quote in writing within two working days — that number becomes the contract. If we miss it, the milestone is refunded.

How long does the actual rebuild take?

Simple apps: 1-2 weeks at $8-15k. Medium: 3-5 weeks at $18-32k. Complex: 6-10 weeks at $40-75k. Most Bubble apps land in the medium tier. You see live deploys daily from week one — not a six-week black box.

Do you sign NDAs? Can we keep this confidential?
